'Overwatch' Patch Notes: Blizzard Planning to Implement One-Hero Limit to Competitive Play in Season 2; New Character Ana can be Played on PC

Fans of the game "Overwatch" have been playing the Competitive Play for weeks now but the developer of "Overwatch," Blizzard, is reportedly planning to limit to only one per character when players are on such mode. The new character for the game, Ana, is also now available to be played on PC.

In a report by Game Spot, teams in Competitive Mode might no longer have a lot of Bastions, Torborjons, or any of the other characters as Blizzard hopes to implement the one-hero limit. The new limit in Competitive Play is now being tested on the "Overwatch" Public Test Realm and will soon be implemented to the main game.

Why the 'Overwatch' One-Hero Limit for Competitive Play?

According to"Overwatch" designer, Scott Mercer, the one-hero limit is only going to be implemented for the Competitive Play. However, in Quick Play, players are still allowed to line-up their teams with many of the same heroes.

The "Overwatch" designer added, "The big thing for Competitive Play is we're going to turn on one-hero limit, so players will not be able to stack more than one of the same hero within a Competitive match."

Blizzard's Scott Mercer Talks About Sudden Death no Longer Part of 'Overwatch' Season 2

Many fans were able to notice that the Sudden Death was no longer part of "Overwatch" Season 2 and that players are allowed to end matches without a win or a loss. Mercer noted that they want players to feel that if there was a tie, their time was not wasted. He noted that Sudden Death's removal will help in not creating situations where players could make something nasty out of the loss.

Changes Coming to Some Characters for 'Overwatch' Season 2

"Overwatch" designer Scott Mercer continued to reveal that D.Va and Zenyatta will be having some changes as people feel like they are underpowered. Zenyatta is said to be getting more shields and will get faster when using his Ultimate. As for D.Va, his Defense Field will be turned on and off via a toggle.

Who is Ana? She Can be Played on PC now for 'Overwatch' Season 2

As for the new character, Ana, she will be using her healing sniper in order to deliver health to her teammates or damage her enemies. Windows PC users can now play her if and only if they have signed up for 'Overwatch' Public Test Region.
