With the Britney Spears new album "Glory" slated to arrive later this month, fans of the pop princess have been curious as to what direction the record will be taking. After being treated to the midtempo slick R&B jam of "Make Me" in July, it seems we will also get a major collaboration in the Britney Spears new album as it is rumored that Selena Gomez will be having a duet with the "Toxic" singer.
After being two of the singers who participated in the Orlando shooting tribute song, Selena Gomez expressed her excitement in being a song with Britney Spears in it in her official Snapchat account, Entertainment Tonight reported. In the video, Gomez said "Well babe, technically I have done a duet with Britney Spears." To which, Spears responded via tweet, "Technically, yes... But when are we working on our actual duet @selenagomez?" Could this mean that we will see a Selena Gomez feature on the Britney Spears new album? We certainly hope so.
This is not the first time Spears collaborated with a major star on a record. She previously had Madonna on the song "Me Against The Music" more than a decade ago. She was also enlisted by Rihanna and will.i.am for vocal work on their respective albums. That may continue in the next Britney Spears new album when it drops at the end of the month.
Britney Spears new album "Glory" will be available in stores starting August 26, People reported.
