Rumors about the potential gaming expo reveal of "Red Dead Redemption 2" still continue to emerge in the online realm despite the fact that some online sites have debunked the speculations. Now, another interesting "RDR 2" update has circulate, claiming there's still hope that the highly anticipated game will be released soon.
Ever since the Electronic Entertainment Expo (E3) in Los Angles in June, there have been rumors suggesting the launch of "Red Dead Redemption 2." In recent weeks, it has also been speculated that "RDR 2" will be revealed at the 2016 Gamescom Expo in Cologne, Germany this August.
Even though some reports have warned fans to take the rumors about the possibility of a "Red Dead Redemption 2" game reveal with a grain of salt, many fans are still hoping for an official announcement soon. With the latest report from Daily Express claiming that Rockstar Games has confirmed about its plans for a new project reveal, more fans are hoping that it would be "RDR 2."
What's more interesting is the fact that Rockstar Games' parent company, Take-Two Interactive, has been listed to show the products and commodity under the category, Action/Adventure as well as Sport and Strategy. Since "Red Dead Redemption" was under the Action/Adventure brand, fans are taking it as a hint for the "Red Dead Redemption 2" reveal and release.
The publication, however, suggested that fans should not get their hopes too high as the listing could simply hint for "Mafia 3" and not "Red Dead Redemption 2." Daily Express' statement was also echoed by The Bitbag, saying that it's best for fans not to expect too much as Rockstar Games really don't have a history in making a grand reveal, instead it usually opt for a low-profile launch.
Moreover, Parent Herald has previously noted that "Red Dead Redemption 2" won't be revealed in any other upcoming gaming convention like PAX and the Tokyo Games Show (TGS) since Rockstar Games has a penchant in making unexpected announcements. In addition, the game developer has also been not a fan of event reveals.
Despite the reports, "Red Dead Redemption 2" could still be under development after map leaks have emerged in recent months. Rumors also have it that "RDR 2" may feature two new characters while the potential release date will be sometime in 2017, Ecumenical News hinted.
