Michael Schumacher and his family have all the right to be in a celebratory mood after the successive victories of his two children, Gina and Mick, in the European equestrian competition and ADAC Formula 4 season respectively. However, the celebration may not be in a full blast as the family continues to deal with the uncertainties about the health condition and recovery of the former Formula One superstar.
Even though several reports about Michael Schumacher's health condition and recovery have been suggesting not so good news, there's still some positivity surrounding Michael and his family. In fact, before this article will delve deeper on the latest updates about Schumi, let's first take a glimpse at the lives of Michael's pride - his children, Gina and Mick.
In spite of the emotional, physical, spiritual and perhaps financial challenges Michael Schumacher's family faced after the tragic skiing accident at the French Alps in December 2013, his two children Gina and Mick have tried their best to move on from their dad's ordeal. As part of the "life must go on" mantra, the Schumacher children never failed to make their dad proud as they emerged victorious in their own chosen career paths.
With that said, Michael Schumacher is definitely an epitome of a father who is full of pride after his 19-year-old daughter Gina Maria won a European Championships medal at an equestrian event in Switzerland. According to Daily Mail, the SVAG FEI European Championship Reining Young Riders 2016 was held at Corinna Schumacher's CS Ranch in Givrins, Switzerland, on Friday, Aug. 12.
Despite her young age, Gina has already joined several showjumping competitions across Europe and she reportedly inherited her passion for riding from both her parents, Michael and Corinna Schumacher. Michael's son Mick, on the other hand, is also making his dad proud by establishing a career in the motorsports.
As Parent Herald previously reported, Mick is following his dad Michael Schumacher's footsteps in the world of car racing. Just recently, the 17-year-old son of the seven-time F1 champ has participated at the ADAC Formula 4 season and won his fourth victory at the Nurburgring.
Meanwhile, Michael Schumacher's health condition and recovery appear to be grim as his progress remains slow, not to mention the report that claimed he's currently "restricted to a wheelchair." Australian Network News also claims that the health condition of the 47-year-old German racing legend has been deteriorating each day.
The online news source also added that due to Michael Schumacher's slow recovery pace, his health condition became more severe. There were also claims that the former F1 superstar has lost 25 percent of his body weight.
In addition, Movie News Guide revealed that Michael Schumacher's Rolls Royce was recently sold to cover his burgeoning healthcare expenses as the family is facing a "financial crisis." Unfortunately, these claims should be taken with a grain of salt since no real-time updates have been provided by the Schumachers and Michael's longtime manager Sabine Kehm.
Kehm even said that the media blackout requested by Michael Schumacher's family still continues, saying the rule is for their privacy's sake. Kehm also admitted that Schumi's situation remains "difficult" and no update or further reports can be provided or shared.
