It seems only yesterday when the "Fast and Furious" was first shown in theaters, and now it's already in its eighth, and probably final, installment. The cast surely went through a lot together, and most recently, a feud between Vin Diesel and Dwayne Johnson erupted. Is the rift over? "Fast and Furious 8" is already down to its final days of filming, and the cast leaves a sweet letter to fans.
"We began in Cuba, visited Iceland, New York and Atlanta, and as we head into our final few days of shooting, we wanted to take this opportunity to express our gratitude to those who have worked so hard over the past 100 days to bring you a movie that is going to be another incredible installment of our saga. Everything we do comes from our shared passion to bring you the very best," the Fast family wrote on their Facebook page.
The post continues to thank the key people in the "Fast and Furious" franchise, including the late Paul Walker. "We extend our gratitude to our new director F. Gary Gray, producers Neal Moritz and One Race Films, writer Chris Morgan, and the hundreds of awesome, dedicated crew members who worked their asses off," the post added. "All of us take our work on Fast & Furious seriously, and we seriously intend to wow the world again. We'll be back in December with your first look at what we've created for you."
Meanwhile, a few days ago, The Rock posted on his Instagram a rant about an unnamed co-star, which according to speculations is Vin Diesel, for being an unprofessional and "candy ass." Collider noted that he has since cooled on it and said, "You guys reading this know how much I believe in the idea of TEAM EFFORT. That means respecting every person, their time and their value when they step on to my set or partner with our production company. And like with any team - that's a family - there's gonna be conflict. Family is gonna have differences of opinion and fundamental core beliefs."
"Fast and Furious 8" is slated to be released in theaters on April 14, 2017.
