Michael Schumacher Health Condition Latest News Updates: Former F1 Legend’s Complete Recovery Questioned After Ferrari Boss Luca Di Montezemolo Denies Latest Statements

For several Michael Schumacher fans, the scarcity and elusiveness of the medical bulletins regarding his health condition and recovery are no longer a surprise. However, any positive updates give them a glimmer of hope that the former Formula One superstar will finally recover from the serious head injuries he sustained in December 2013.

Earlier this week, Michael Schumacher made headlines when reports emerged claiming that the 47-year-old German racer is in the road to recovery. According to The Bitbag, former Ferrari boss Luca di Montezemolo admitted that Schumi has been responding to treatment and he's very optimistic about his recovery.

Unfortunately, Parent Herald discovered that Di Montezemolo's statements, which were quoted on Ecumenical News (via The Telegraph) was old news. As a matter of fact, the statements were taken from May-dated CNN report after the publication's The Circuit conducted an interview at his Rome, Italy headquarters.

Since several news outlets have quoted and published Di Montezemolo's previous statements, Grandprix revealed that some international publications and the former Ferrari boss himself denied the reports suggesting Michael Schumacher's health condition has been improving. Di Montezemolo's spokesperson even said that the statements were "totally unfounded," noting the fact that the 68-year-old Italian businessman has neither made any claims nor has spoken about Schumi's health condition or recovery in recent months.

Meanwhile, Michael Schumacher reportedly continues to undergo rehabilitation at his family's Swiss estate. However, the health condition of the seven-time F1 champ remains "unchanged." In addition, rumors also spread that his health has been apparently deteriorating as time goes by.

With that said, Chatt Sports Net noted that Michael Schumacher's family might finally decide to remove Schumi from life support. The online news source also added that with Schumacher's burgeoning healthcare expenses, slow recovery progress and development and the rumored severe depression, his family might be already on the verge of giving up.

With all the rumors and speculations surrounding Michael Schumacher's health condition and recovery, not to mention the uncertainties, his longtime manager Sabine Kehm emphasized the need to keep the details about his medical bulletin private. During the launch of "Champions for Charity," a football tribute to Schumi, Kehm admitted no comments or insights can be shared as the "private situation" remains too "difficult."

Despite the uncertainties that plague Michael Schumacher's health condition and recovery, diehard racing fans are still not losing hope. In fact, the hashtag #KeepFightingMichael has remained a trending social media petition on Twitter, Instagram and Facebook.
