'Rise of the Tomb Raider' PS4: Xbox One Users Should be Envious? Expansion Pack, Co-Op Underway

After waiting for nearly a year, PS4 users will finally get their hands on the "Rise of the Tomb Raider." The Square Enix was initially launched as an Xbox One exclusive, but plans of releasing it on the Sony console has always been part of the plan despite the delays.

Fans are looking forward to the October 11, 2016 "Rise of the Tomb Raider" PS4 release date. As recent reports confirmed, fans will not only get the game, but some awesome additions as well.

According to UPROXX, the game will be released on the same month as the franchise's 20th anniversary. Aptly called "Rise of the Tomb Raider: 20 Year Celebration" will reportedly include all the DLC and an expansion pack called "Blood Ties."

The expansion pack will follow Lara Croft as she visits a now ruined and haunted Craft Manor. Players will get to defend the house from zombies in "Rise of the Tomb Raider" PS4, almost resembling "Resident Evil's" gameplay.

Apart from the zombie attacks, "Rise of the Tomb Raider" PS4 will also feature a co-op mode called "Endurance." As Metro noted, players are tasked to find treasures in tombs while surviving harsh conditions.

Xbox One users should not worry about the "Rise of the Tomb Raider" PS4 additions. Existing players can download "Blood Ties" as DLC.

It was previously rumored that the "Rise of the Tomb Raider" PS4 graphics will come in 1080p 60fps. Read on what fans had to say in this Reddit forum.
