The future of the "Alaskan Bush People" show remains unclear as the Discovery Channel has not made any formal announcement about its renewal, or cancellation, for that matter. Recent reports, however, said that the Brown family might be moving to Seattle. Is this a sign that the show is not returning for another season?
There have been a lot of questions about the authenticity of the "Alaskan Bush People," and speculations are numerous pointing to all the evidence that everything about it has been made up. That includes the assumption that the family is actually not living in the bush, but rather checks in a hotel after the cameras have stopped rolling.
In a recent report from the Inquisitr, it has been suggested that Billy and his brood are leaving the bush. The rumor started to spread as Billy had to go to Seattle for some treatment for his seizures. In addition, the family has an issue with the government of Alaska. They were actually supposed to appear before a judge in Juneau, but they were not able to make it because they were in Seattle.
Contrary to what the "Alaskan Bush People" claims, the Brown family did not live in 30 plus years straight. Billy later admitted in a statement about moving to Seattle from 2009 to 2012. His lawyer said he was trying to sell his book "One Wave at a Time" during that period.
Whether it is for good or not, the Brown clan travels to Seattle and might stay there as Billy gets his treatment. "Alaskan Bush People" was included in the list of returning shows in Discovery Channel for the 2016-2017 TV season back in March, Parent Herald reported. The network also continues to air footages from previous seasons. So while there are rumors that the show has been canceled because of several reasons, it looks like it is heading for renewal. There are even reports that the production has already started.
