NBA Trade Rumors: LA Clippers Trading Blake Griffin And Chris Paul; Griffin To Celtics, Paul To Cavs?

Los Angeles Lakers have claimed that they are in no way trading their power forward Blake Griffin and point guard Chris Paul. However, NBA trade rumors suggest otherwise. Reports have it that Griffin is heading to Boston Celtics, while Paul is joining the current NBA champ Cleveland Cavaliers.

Blake Griffin is a regular in the NBA trade rumor mills. Despite his skills and potentials, he missed a number of games last season due to injury. This convinced a number of NBA enthusiasts that LA Clippers is trading the Griffin.

However, Parent Herald previously reported that LA Clippers intend to keep Blake Griffin and Chris Paul until the two retire. Head coach Doc Rivers announced that they are not entertaining any trade talks involving Griffin and Paul and added that both are staying.

However, according to HealthAim, LA Clippers are expecting a huge trade that could increase the number of veteran and new talents on the team. Along with this is also losing some of its key players.

Doc Rivers admitted per Boston Globe that Blake Griffin and Chris Paul are going to be free agents soon. He added that it is their turn to face the ordeal that OKC Thunder felt when Kevin Durant chose to leave the team to join the super team, Golden State Warriors.

Per HealthAim, there are chances that Chris Paul will join the NBA contender Cleveland Cavaliers. Paul is reportedly desperate to win and join an active contender to win his first NBA championship.

Aside from this, those following Chris Paul could attest that he is a good friend of the most versatile player in Cavs, LeBron James. In fact, both have spoken up their desire to play on the same team.

Meanwhile, Blake Griffin could be joining either the OKC Thunder or Boston Celtics next year. Reports have it that both teams are interested in signing Griffin to upgrade their roster.
