‘South Park’ Season 20 Episode 2 [SPOILERS]: Is Cartman An Online Troll? Upcoming Episode ‘Skank Hunk’ Focuses On Global Terror

Just a week after the highly anticipated television comeback of "South Park" season 20, fans are already excited on what the hit adult-animated series has to offer for its episode 2. Based on some spoiler reports, the upcoming episode will follow Cartman, who's accused of being an online troll, and the threats of global terror.

Prior to "South Park" season 20 episode 2, the previous episode seemed to have encountered some issues, particularly in depicting a "good and solid story." According to IGN's TV review, Jesse Schedeen pointed out how creators Matt Stone and Trey Parker tried to make up for the lost time and tackle the issues they have missed this year.

In "South Park" season 20 episode 1, they covered the several clashing storylines such as the current U.S. Presidential Election, Black Lives Matter movement, online trolls, Colin Kaepernick National Anthem controversy and Hollywood's obsession to reboots. But due to the limited time of 22 minutes, it was pretty challenging to come up with "coherent and cohesive story."

"South Park" season 20 episode 2, on the other hand, will follow the events where the boys will try to prove that Cartman was indeed the online troll, skankhunt43. Aside from taking Cartman down, the synopsis posted in South Park Studios website also revealed the upcoming episode titled, "Skank Hunt," will also feature the global terror element on the show.

It was also revealed the trolling on Twitter will reportedly continue in "South Park" season20 episode 2. Meanwhile, Broadway World learned that South Park Studios, Viacom Labs and Comedy Central have collaborated with GIPHY to release the first ever and wide-ranging GIF channel for the series to commemorate its 20th season.

The first-of-its-kind "South Park" channel will feature some of the memorable moments in the series in GIF form. It will also allow users to "speak in South Park" through various social media platforms like Twitter, Facebook, Slack, Tinder and others.

In other "South Park" season 20-related news, the series' fans in Asia have a reason to rejoice as Viacom International Media Network announced (via Manila Bulletin) the series will be coming in Asian territories next month. In fact, the 20th season will kick off on Oct. 5 at 10 p.m. on Comedy Central.

What do you think will happen in "South Park" season 20 episode 2? Tune in on Comedy Central at 10 p.m. on Wednesdays for an all new episode of the series.
