Xbox One users can already course the visually stunning effects in the Everspace universe for under $30, plus many more. No need to fret Windows 10 users, as there have been talks of the game being made available by next month as well.
Through the Xbox One Preview program, members can already have a firsthand experience with the creative gameplay mechanics of developer Rockfish Games newest offering, Everspace, says Windows Central. The new game would also be ID@Xbox's first 3rd-party game that will become a mainstay for Xbox Play Anywhere, courtesy of Microsoft.
Other than Xbox One Preview members getting Everspace on their consoles, another added benefit would be the Windows 10 freebie for Xbox One owners. This also works the other way around. Talk about an awesome win-win!
Rockfish says that Everspace won't be missing out on constant tweaks and updates as well, according to the game's official site. During the Xbox One launch event, Everspace players had already been encountering a range of customized mods and refinements such as "mainframe override", huge space stations, among others.
Talks of an Everspace DLC are also making the buzz not only with Rockfish Games, plus there won't be a need for Steam users to run the Steam client once Everspace has already been downloaded and running. GOG has also expressed their satisfaction with the overall uniqueness and predicted value for the game, and Rockfish is working around the kinks to have the game available to GOG enthusiasts.
Rockfish Games' co-founder and CEO Michael Schade expressed his gratitude for the well-received reception from their ID@Xbox partners. The team is also getting ready to have HTC Vive and Oculus Rift VR support for its Everspace players.
Full version release of the game is set before March 2017, with a voice-acted backstory and all. Stay tuned for more updates!
