Tom Clancy's "The Division" 1.4 massive update isn't due until October but Windows PC gamers were able to experience a series of changes first. In addition, Ubisoft has also announced the deployment of its Public Test Server (PTS) on its own Uplay service and on Steam.

Despite being widely criticized for the technical glitches and bugs that has plagued Tom Clancy's "The Division" in recent months, Ubisoft bragged just a week ago that the game remains to be the top bestselling game title in 2016 so far. As the game tries to hold the said record throughout the year, the game developer is giving Windows PC gamers a chance to test the upcoming 1.4 patch on Steam and Uplay through the newly launched Public Test Server.

According to GameSpot, Tom Clancy's "The Division" PTS will feature changes that won't be available in the live game. The PTS aims to test the game's 1.4 update, as well as to gather some feedbacks from its valued players. Even though there has been some reported issue in getting it out, the problem has been fortunately fixed.

Aside from gathering feedbacks, Ubisoft explained on its website that Tom Clancy's "The Division" PTS will also help them in determining some critical glitches that would need to be fixed, not to mention assist them to further boost the game's content.
