DJI has something in store for all fans of high-end drones, and they are going to reveal them on Nov. 15 via a special announcement. The event hints at the anticipated Inspire 1 drone, which enthusiasts believe will be reaching out to professionals and consumers in general.
The company has already sent their invites, which simply reads: "Control/create." Tech Crunch believes that the drone maker is about to unveil the Inspire 1 drone to the public, and it will highlight all the premium features of the drone. DJI is apparently tapping the professional filmmakers and the consumers who do not mind spending a little extra for a high-end drone.
It was in November 2014 when the first model of Inspire 1 was launched with great gusto. The first Inspire 1 stayed relatively stagnant until it received an update at the beginning of 2016. However, the update only had minimal improvements.
DJI may have opted to create another model of Inspire I since the competition is getting tighter among drones and products alike. The major advances in technology may be the cause why DJI had to developer a new Inspire I that would impress enthusiasts and professionals.
The specs of Inspire 1 may have been overhauled from top to bottom. Enthusiasts expect that the Inspire 1 will have obstacle avoidance features, which has already been installed in DJI's own Phantom 4 and the Mavic Pro model.
The Inspire 1's design is believed to be sleeker and smaller than the current Inspire 1 without sacrificing the distinguishing features the line has been known for. This includes accurate flexibility in shooting scenes on air and retractable landing apparatus that contributes to its new design.
Since Inspire 1 is positioned as a premium brand, the price is forecasted to be pretty much the same as the current Inspire 1, which is priced at $2,000. If purchased with the Inspire RAW kit, the investment will go as high as $6,500.
