Huawei Mate 9 vs. Apple iPhone 7 Plus battle arena has been set and Huawei takes the center stage with its new Kirin 960 chipset, which is considered as the highest-performing processor for smartphones to date. Unlike its iPhone 7 Plus rival, Huawei Mate 9, which runs on EMUI 5.0, utilizes the SuperCharge technology giving the phone a full day's charge within just a mere 20-minute charging time.

In a report by The Sydney Morning Herald, the Kirin chipset installed in the Huawei Mate 9 is a first-of-its-kind chipset in the world, as it features a Mali G71 Octa-core GPU and an ARM Cortex-A73/A53 Octa-core CPU. This device's configuration produces the best multi-core CPU performance for a majority of today's smartphone SoCs and even reduces the phone's power consumption by a whopping 15 percent.

With the Kirin chipset of Huawei Mate 9, the device's energy efficiency has also been improved by 40 percent and the performance boosted by 180 percent. Huawei Mate 9 also boasts a stunning 400 percent increase in graphics performance compared to its previous models.

Huawei Mate 9's 4,000 mAh battery works well with its SuperCharge technology charges guaranteeing 50 percent faster charging experience for its users. The Chinese tech company has also revealed a battery safety feature called the Super Safe 5-gate protection, which shows real-time temperature and voltage monitoring to ensure the safety of its users.

Apple's iPhone 7 Plus has its own set of fantastic features as well, as the release of the new Apple device has been met, as usual, with an overwhelming response from Apple iPhone fans. However, Huawei Mate 9 vs Apple iPhone 7 Plus has a slight difference when it comes to their camera specs. Huawei Mate 9 sports a dual-rear camera, with the main sensor taking 12-megapixel color photos that are combined with the 20-megapixel monochrome images taken by the second rear camera.
