"Final Fantasy 7" remake updates continue to spread online.While majority of the news shared by reports are fueled by speculations and theories, Square Enix has claimed that more details about the new game will be revealed in the coming months.
As it was previously reported, developers of the "Final Fantasy 7" remake will reveal more information about the game right after "Kingdom Hearts 2.8" has been released. Apart from teasing more upcoming details about the game, Nomura also confirmed that the new game will have a new battle system that will reflect a more action-based gameplay.
Meanwhile, "Final Fantasy 7" remake brand manager Shinji Hashimoto recently shared some information about Square Enix's future releases which includes the highly anticipated remake. Hashimoto claimed that they're currently working hard on the game, and has asked fans not to be impatient with the lack of details as of the moment.
As for the rumored 2017 "Final Fantasy 7" remake release date, the brand manager claimed that Square Enix has yet to disclose a specific launch date. Hashimoto further explained that any release date rumor circulating online should be taken with a grain of salt, Siliconera reported.
A new concern has been raised about the up the "Final Fantasy 7" remake's new battle system. The new action-heavy system might constrict players to just using one character at a time. The outlet further argued that the recently released teaser for the "Final Fantasy 7" remake somehow hinted this when players alternately used Barrett and Cloud in a battle.
