TLC has just confirmed that the international dating show "90 Day Fiance" has been renewed for a Season 5. The network is also expanding the show even more by also renewing its spin-off show, "90 Day Fiance: Happily Ever After," and is even developing yet another spin-off show.
The Wrap reports that the new spin-off show, with a working title called "90 Day: Before the 90 Day," will follow long-distance couples during their online dating days before meeting for the first time. The new show will let viewers follow the journey of the couples falling in love online, getting visas into the US and proving that they could be in a real relationship.
The two companion shows are a perfect addition to an ever-growing TV franchise. The main show, "90 Day Fiance," is already raking in an average of 1.6 million total viewers and is said to be a big hit among female viewers. This upcoming Sunday's episode will air a two-hour special, followed by part 2 of "90 Day Fiance: Happily Ever After? Tell All", according to The Wrap.
While most of the couples from the "Happily Ever After? Tell All" have their ups and downs, one couple keeps bringing in the heat for all the wrong reasons: Season 2's Danielle Mullins and Mohamed Jbali. The couple has since separated, with Mohamed leaving to Florida, but their story is far from over.
In a teaser video of an upcoming part 2 of the "Happily Ever After? Tell All" episode, host Shaun Robinson asked an explosive question to the other couples whether Mohamed is using Danielle only for a green card. The other couples immediately weighed in, some even becoming confrontational and picking sides.
The reveal about Mohamed's reluctance for sexual intimacy with Danielle in Part 1 of the tell-all interview only drives to the conclusion that Mohamed is only looking for a way into the country. The teaser video ends with both Mohamed and Danielle pointing fingers at each other for breaking promises during their turbulent marriage.
What do you think of these broken promises? Do you think Mohamed is only in it for the green card? Watch the video below and leave a comment.
