Ben Higgins resorts to social media confirming his relationship status with fiancée Lauren Bushnell. Higgins shocked viewers when he called off their wedding. He and Bushnell met on season 20 of the reality show "The Bachelor". So, is it "Ben & Lauren: Happily Ever After" No More?
What's confusing is, despite confirming to Bushnell that the wedding was indeed off, he still assures her that he's not leaving her. After the episode aired on Tuesday, speculations are getting stronger that the couple had called it quits,
"Ben & Lauren: Happily Ever After" was initially thought to be a lovers' paradise setting but trouble started to sneak into the relationship. In fact, they have gone through counseling to iron things out, in "The Bachelor."
Higgins did not hide his tears showing how unsure he was with the wedding. While discussing the wedding plans, he had expressed that he did not want to rush it. It was clear that he apparently don't want to get into something they are not really sure about.
He begged to have the chance to understand the situation at that moment in "The Bachelor." Naturally, the bride to be is shattered with the outcome of her sacrifices. She took a big leap when she moved to Denver and changed jobs to be with him.
Despite Bushnell 's unhappiness, Higgins cannot take it any longer when they were asked to put on wedding clothes - that he called the wedding off, just like that as noted by Yahoo TV.
Coincidentally, Higgins and Bushnell had the chance to be introduced to a couple who had been together for the last 70 years. They were advised to prioritize each other and provide the time needed for the engagement to happen. Ben & Lauren's docu series airs Tuesdays at 8 p.m. via Freeform.
