"Assassin's Creed: The Ezio Collection" day 1 patch notes had been released together with the game itself. The patch includes fixes for both major and minor bug fixes for both PS4 and Xbox One.
Major fixes for both PS4 and Xbox includes the following: fix for the installation status lines are not localized in launcher on Xbox One and PS4, a fix for some of the overlapping texts in the options menu in "Assassin's Creed: Brotherhood" on both consoles and a fix for the title name is not localized in Russian in launcher on Xbox One and PS4.
For the PlayStation 4 console, there are three categories that need patching stability, visuals, and localization. Fixes for stability includes a fix for an issue where save data becomes damaged and cannot be loaded when the user quits the application immediately after the save is created and a fix for miscellaneous crashes in "Assassin's Creed: Revelations" Lost Archive.
For visuals the following patch offer the following fixes: a fix for the disappearing grass for one second when players get close in" Assassin's Creed: Brotherhood" and the issue where surroundings in Desmond's Journey changed into pure color and become corrupted when getting into Desmond's Journey-Part 1 in "Assassin's Creed: Revelations." Localization fix was applied for the issue where some map locations have placeholder text in Assassin's Creed: Brotherhood. 4K dynamic rendering support was also added for PS4 Pro.
The Xbox One will receive fixes for gameplay, stability, visuals, system and Localization. The gameplay issue wherein the camera passes through the room walls when the player jumps on the closet from a certain localization in Assassin's Creed 2 and where a cut scene is partially rendered if the fleeing NPC is caught too early in "Assassin's Creed 2" are both fixed for "Assassin's Creed: The Ezio Collection's" Stability, the following fixes were applied: a fix for the issue where the game crashed when it goes into standby while being on the Account Picker from the 'Press START' screens and the issue where loading screens take a long time to complete to and from the launcher while servers are down. Also, the issue where the textures stretched when approaching an aqueduct in Antico District in "Assassin's Creed: Brotherhood" is already fixed, according to Ubisoft Forums.
