"Star Wars Battlefront" became one of 2015's disappointment when it was released without a single player campaign mode. Over time the game was updated with DLC's and expansions which showcased some of the scenarios from Star Wars movies. The DLCs and Expansions were very well polished and has elevated the game's reputation, but not that much. The expectation of a whole new "Star Wars Battlefront" experience based on Dice's perspective had backfired and produced a totally mediocre game.
Fans of the "Star Wars" saga were not happy by the way of what was announced to be a complete overhaul of the series became a compilation of mini episodes. Although the rumored development of "Star Wars Battlefront" 2 is on the way, Dice and EA needs to compensate and learn from their past mistake. The release of an Ultimate Edition is beneficial to the players who were not able to purchase the game at all. The upcoming "Star Wars Battlefront" 2 is going to have a lot to cover in terms of the single player campaign if comes out with that feature.
