Carrie Underwood has slowly returned to her music career five months after giving birth. However, her body has been incredibly fast in getting back into shape. The new mom surprised everyone by showing her incredible post-baby figure at her new music video, according to Hollywood Life.
The blonde beauty displayed her long legs and toned post-baby body in a pair of tiny light-blue denim and white crop top. She also wore a knee-high cowgirl boots. Underwood rocks the public by showing them that she is one hot mama.
The seven-time Grammy-Award-winning star delivered her son, Isaiah Michael Fisher, on February 2015 by C-section, which held her back from going to the gym. So, how did she successfully lost her pregnancy weight?
Underwood admitted that she found other ways to do so and shared that it helps a lot that she also did not gain too much weight during her pregnancy. "While I was pregnant, I did everything I could to try and make smart choices," the first-time-mom told E! News. "And if I couldn't really like work out, work out, I'd go walk, and I just tried to stay active."
Moreover, since she cannot hit the gym right away, the new mom finds other ways to shed the extra pounds by altering her diet. When Carrie's body was healed and she got the permission to work out again, she immediately got right back into her exercise regimen. What exercises did Carrie do?
Erin Oprea of Oprea Personal Fitness and Underwood's trainer revealed the different routine she does to E! News, "We do lots of lunges, squats, plyometrics, stairs, pull-ups along with weight training. The key to the success is keeping all of this at your level and not to do too much too soon. Listen to your body."
For a flatter tummy, she revealed, "Core exercises are great to help tone the body, but a slimmer midsection is truly made in the kitchen. Eating clean is the fastest way to get flatter."
Erin advises several other exercises that it is efficient in getting into shape and she reveals her favorite, "A killer core exercise is the plank slide. Get into plank form on your hands with your feet on a towel (make sure you're on a slippery surface like hardwood). Slide your feet out wide like a jumping jack and back to center."
Oprea stressed that everybody has to work hard for what they want and Carrie just did so. The fitness instructor commended Underwood's discipline.
