Game developers often use Easter eggs to promote other games they develop. But for Game developer Rockstar Games, it's a way to let players know that "Grand Theft Auto 6" is happening.
According to News Every Day, several Easter eggs were found by a player on "GTA 5" provided certain clues and information about "Grand theft Auto 6." The Easter eggs were revealed by YouTuber Sernandoe.
According to the video, Rockstar Games placed hidden information on "Grand Theft Auto 6" all over "GTA 5" for players to find. Some areas include the Los Santos airport, the skating arena, and the Vespucci beach.
Despite Sernando finding Easter eggs, details on "Grand Theft Auto 6" are still vague, pointing at several possible locations of the game. In the skating arena Easter egg, the game points at London while another points to North Yankton
Both locations are a possible setting for "Grand Theft Auto 6," per a report by iTech, given that London is Rockstar Games' headquarters. As for North Yankton, it's a possible location based on the story.
The London Easter egg can be found in one corner of the Skate arena, where a picture that says "Liberty Rock" and resembles a city in London can be found. As for the North Yankton reference, players will find it by visiting Michael's house, where two plane tickets can be found on the table with the words "fly U6." In the story of "Grand Theft Auto 5," Michael flies to North Yankton, but does not use the return ticket.
Another "Grand Theft Auto 6" Easter egg points at the release date of the game. The Easter egg can be found at the doors of Los Santos airport.
Based on the Easter egg, the "Grand Theft Auto 6" will be released in 2021. This could be due to Rockstar Game's decision to put off "GTA 6" for the mean time to focus on "Red Dead Redemption 2."
Despite all the Easter eggs pointing to a possible "GTA 6," one Easter egg points that the game could be a possible remake of "Grand Theft Auto: Vice City" instead of "Grand Theft Auto 6." In the Vespucci beach Easter egg, the towels there had the words "I love V.C." on them, hinting that the "V.C." stands for "Vice City."
Rockstar Games has not responded to the Easter egg reveals yet. Do you think "Grand Theft Auto 6" will be released in 2021? Leave your comments below.
