‘Supernatural’ Season 12, Episode 7 Spoilers & Promo: Lucifer Plans Big Murder, Heartbreaking Fate For Mary Teased?

The most recent "Supernatural" episode saw the return of Mary (Samantha Smith) to attend a fellow hunter's funeral alongside her sons, Dean (Jensen Ackles) and Sam (Jared Padalecki). This reunion was a nice thing to witness, given that Mary asked her sons for some time off and be by her lonesome to contemplate the life that she was thrust back into after her resurrection.

Fans of "Supernatural" were hopeful that Mary would finally be in her sons' life in a regular capacity but in the end of the episode titled "Celebrating the Life of Asa Fox," Mary still went solo. She told Dean and Sam that she needs "just a little more time," a statement which planted fears in "Supernatural" viewers' hearts.

"Supernatural" fans know that over the years, people around Dean and Sam aren't safe and their lives are always in peril. They usually die just as fans get attached to them and unless they've been made as regular characters, their fates always remain in jeopardy. And Mary is no exception.

TV Fanatic pointed out that Mary's "little more time" statement means that something terrible would happen to her on "Supernatural," as what is always the case in the long-running series. There are speculations that by the time she gets back, Mary's entire purpose and real story arc in "Supernatural" Season 12 will be revealed and there's a huge chance that it won't be pretty. Maybe Lucifer would get involved in some way.

Mary's solo time off on "Supernatural" Season 12 is causing tension between her and her sons - especially Dean - the longer she does it. She's only sent the Winchester brothers one text message every week and at some point, Dean would probably be unable to hold off his feelings and confront his mother.

Episode seven titled "Rock Never Dies" of "Supernatural" Season 12 will be Lucifer-centric. In the upcoming episode, Lucifer (Rick Springfield) realizes that his rock star status as Vince Vincente grants him the opportunity to "get his fans to do whatever he wants," SpoilerTV reported.

With this power, Lucifer holds a secret VIP concert to kill all his fans and Dean, Sam, and Castiel (Misha Collins) will do everything they can to stop the fallen angel -- even if it means they'll have to "enter the underbelly of the music industry." "Rock Never Dies" airs on Dec. 1 at 9:00-10:00 PM ET on The CW.
