‘Injustice 2’ Release Set In Q1 2017

"Injustice 2's" released could have been leaked by GameStop. The anticipated sequel to "Injustice: Gods Among Us" fighting game is said to be bigger and better than the first installment.

A recent article from GamingBolt regarding "GameStop's" earnings report, which includes "Injustice 2" as a part of the company's 1Q17 release. Although the report was not confirmed nor denied by the developers of "Injustice 2," this leak is sure to hype up the "Injustice" community.

"Injustice 2" has been teased a couple of times already by both the director and the studio itself. Ed Boon, co-creator of the" Mortal Kombat" and director of "Batman: Arkham Origins," is the genius behind this compilation of legendary DC heroes. Three years after the release of the first "Injustice" fighting game, "Injustice 2" was announced through a trailer.

"Injustice 2" features a new RPG-like gear system reward the player with loot drops every time he plays the game. With each loot drop, the player will earn character-specific gear to outfit and power up his roster - changing not only the look of each character but the fight strategy and his personal approach to every match, based on PlayStation.Blog.

Ed Boon has also been busy doing polls for additional characters on his Twitter account. His latest poll is about the Watchmen characters wherein Rorschach and Dr. Manhattan as the two favorite choices to join "Injustice 2's" roster. The previous characters he announced were Sub-zero and Spawn. "Injustice 2 continues the epic cinematic story introduced in Injustice: Gods Among Us as Batman and his allies work towards putting the pieces of society back together while struggling against those who want to restore Superman's regime," according to TrustedReviews.

Ed Boon and "Injustice 2" are a perfect combination. The characters presented in the game have their own identity and characteristics, making "Injustice 2" a single separate project and not a game based on the movie version. Each character is balanced, even though some superheroes are stronger than others in the comic books, Ed Boon managed to create an equilibrium between individuals with god-like powers fighting to the death.
