In the movie, "Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice," the title itself suggests a conflict between the two titular superheroes, Batman and Superman. However, the battle is not just between Bruce Wayne and Clark Kent, there will also be a face-off between Wonder Woman, who will be played by "Fast & Furious" star, Gal Gadot, and Doomsday, according to Heroic Hollywood.
Doomsday is the notorious villain who is a physical challenge to Superman. According to Screen Rant, Doomsday killed Superman in the '90s "Death of Superman" story arc, and, since then, the infamous monster became a principal character in the DC Comics universe.
Heroic Hollywood provided a short detail about Wonder Woman and Doomsday's encounter. The report said, "During the fight with Doomsday, Wonder Woman draws that awesome sword of hers, swings it at Doomsday and manages to chop off the hand of the beast!"
However, it was not a sure victory for Wonder Woman yet, "Wonder Woman is badass and got skills but don't count Doomsday out! He is still in the fight! Complications ensue because a BONE BLADE grows back where Doomsday's hand used to be! In screenwriting that's called a reversal. Now Doomsday got a blade of his own."
The battle between Wonder Woman and Doomsday is another face off that fans should look forward to in the "Batman v Superman" movie because it promises force, power and action.
Doomsday's involvement in the film is not a surprise. CinemaBlend has reported earlier that Doomsday is in for the upcoming flick. According to the report, superhero news scooper, Umberto Gonzalez a.k.a El Mayimbe, appeared on one of the episodes of Shanlian On Batman podcast and confirmed that Doomsday will appear on "Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice" movie.
Gonzalez mentioned that the villain looks "incredible." The report suggests that Doomsday will be the muscle of "Dawn of Justice," but Lex Author will be the film's main villain.
In the comics, an alien scientist attempted to create the perfect weapon; thus, Doomsday was born. He was forced to survive in a tough environment during prehistoric Krypton. However, Doomsday was eventually able to adapt and became more powerful. He fought Superman in the Death of Superman storyline and was successful, but he also perished during the battle because both of them have equal power and strength.
In a separate report from CinemaBlend, Lex Luthor (Jesse Eisenberg) will use the Kryptonian DNA obtained from the corpse of Zod, played by Michael Shannon, to bring the dreaded monster to life.
Fans will soon witness the match between Batman versus Superman and Wonderwoman versus Doomsday in theaters. "Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice" will hit the big screens on March 25, 2016.
