‘Lethal Weapon’ Season 1 Episode 7 Review: Clayne Crawford And Hilarie Burton To Be Paired Up? Is Riggs Ready?

“Lethal Weapon” Season 1 Episode 7 deals with the case involving the murder of a fashion expediter. Riggs (Clayne Crawford) and Murtaugh (Damon Wayans) are caught inside an investigation with the Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA).

It was great to see how Palmer (Hilarie Burton) and the DEA wanted Riggs and Murtaugh to be out of the case. It was a refreshing standpoint of this episode.

The “Fashion Police” episode is ranked by some fans as the second-best episode next to the TV show’s pilot. It’s one of the best episodes that does not usually focus on the actions but also the story itself.

For Riggs, the episode helped him share himself with his partner and viewers as well. One of the most important things to note about Riggs is that he just wants his pain to go away and not die.

The episode also showed a hint of possible romance between Riggs and Agent Palmer. Though nothing really happened, there’s chance that an overarching story can be created between the two, TV Fanatic reports.

However, the episode states it clear that Riggs is still not up for a relationship. He still needs time to mourn. His nightmares were also a representation of his grief from loss.

The episode still stands with humor and heart. The banter between the two main casts was refreshing and represents the original film franchise.

There are also other highlights in the episode which referenced the film. One of this was when Riggs was tortured while being hanged upside down.

For now, IGN ranks the episode as the best one yet for “Lethal Weapon” Season 1. There were no wasted moments, both in plot and humor, and the characters shared a part of themselves to the audience.

The next episode of “Lethal Weapon” Season 1 is entitled “Can I Get A Witness?" Watch the trailer below.
