IO Interactive recently released an update for their legendary "Hitman" game. The mandatory update contains fixes, improvements and additional features, which make the great game even greater. IO Interactive has big plans for the new "Hitman's" storyline, which would span several seasons and build an ensemble cast.
"Hitman's" new update includes an offline profile that makes the items collected online available for offline use. Items including weapons, gear, starting/pickup locations as well as Elusive Target suit rewards and Challenge Pack unlocks are now accessible offline.
Another added feature is the option wherein the player can place checkmarks in any opportunity when completed. The silent assassin rating is displayed in the scoring screen if the player completes the mission with that rating. Agent 47 now has the ability to pull people over balconies or out of windows, when he is hanging on a ledge or below the balcony/window.
For PC gamers, the "Hitman" update fixed an issue where the cinematics between missions could drop to as low as 19 fps. It also fixed an issue where some tabs in the re-planning screen could not be selected with a mouse.
The update is 2.4GB on PS4, 13.6GB on Xbox One, and 2.1GB on PC. Following the IO interactive's recent change in their logo and a brand new Copenhagen office, the "Hitman" team is busy coming up with more ways in improving the now episodic "Hitman" game.
"Hitman" is being equipped with the necessary tweaks to make it compatible with the next-gen console, specifically the PS4 Pro. Although IO Interactive announced that the Hokkaido mission marks the conclusion of "Hitman's" first season, Michael Vogt states that "Hitman's" season 1 is the first act in a feature film. You know all the characters, you know the stakes, you know the dilemma, but it's only getting started," based on his interview with GameSpot.
