“The Walking Dead” Season 7 has been a whirlwind of emotions, especially during its first episode. It will only get more exciting, as the show's scariest villain, Negan, is here to stay. At least for Season 8, actor Jeffrey Dean Morgan recently confirmed.
This means that "The Walking Dead" Season 8 will still revolve around Negan and the Saviors. This also means that Rick (Andrew Lincoln) and the gang still won't be safe. But then again, when are they ever safe?
So, the people in Alexandria and Hilltop won’t be killing the series’ villain this season. Does this mean Negan will be killing off more characters soon?
That’s certainly a possibility, but there is still no confirmation as to what will happen in the final episodes this season. Nonetheless, Morgan had already confirmed that they’ve already finished filming “The Walking Dead” Season 7 and that’s why he’s confident that he’d still be in the next season.
He’ll be “heavy” even in the next two seasons, according to Comic Book. For fans and viewers, this is a big sigh of relief as this means the show will still be extended to at least two more seasons. The downside is that Negan could literally kill some characters viewers have grown to love as brutal as what happened to Glenn (Steven Yeun), TV Line recaps.
However, fans shouldn’t worry that, for now. The upcoming episodes of “The Walking Dead” Season 7 Episodes 7 and 8 will bring to life some iconic scenes from the comic book, so that must be something positive to look forward to.
“The Walking Dead” Season 7 airs every Sunday on AMC.
