The premiere episode of "Dance Moms" Season 7 showcased Abby Lee Miller's junior elite team in a tight competition against the minis. Miller is planning to create a super team and there are speculations that episode two will bid goodbye to some of the girls. The question is: who are they going to be?
The Season 6 finale of "Dance Moms" saw Kendall Vertes, Nia Frazier, Kalani Hilliker, Brynn Rumfallo, and their mothers leaving ALDC. The junior elites don't want Miller as their teacher anymore so it was shocking when they returned in the Season 7 premiere after Miller talked to them.
Miller said that the "Dance Moms" hiatus helped her make sense of what she wants for the studio's future, and that includes finishing what she started with the junior elites. The latter were uncertain in their comeback but they also know that they are aimless without Miller's tutelage. Brynn's mother, Ashlee Allen, believes that they need Miller's winning team if they want to succeed just like Maddie Ziegler.
The mini moms are displeased over the junior elites' return to "Dance Moms" Season 7. Stacey Ketchman couldn't believe that the junior elites had the nerve to return to ALDC despite saying horrible things about Miller.
Miller told the mini moms that she plans to form one super team because she doesn't want them to oppose the junior elites anymore. She added that she wants to go back to ALDC's "glory days" and she believes that she has to axe some of the dancers to do that. Miller thinks that a more pronounced rivalry between the junior elites and the minis will push them to put out their best foot forward and win the competition.
However, Miller also admitted that she has fears over removing some of the dancers from ALDC. She argued that it's reasonable "to cut some of the minis" but she couldn't bring herself to axe kids "who didn't do anything wrong" and who didn't get tutored by a different instructor. But in the end, Miller knows that she has to do "what is best" for ALDC and proceed with the elimination.
Spoilers for episode two of "Dance Moms" Season 7 revealed that ALDC was victorious against Candy Apple's Dance Center (CADC). ALDC's lyrical piece, "We Go On," won at the Fierce National Dance Competition in San Diego, California on Sept. 17. CADC also lost to ALDC's duets in the teen division.
