'Rogue One: Scarif' Trailer Debuts In Time for 'Rogue One: A Star Wars Story' Movie; Final DLC For 'Star Wars Battlefront'?

The trailer is out as DICE and EA unveiled the fourth and final DLC for "Star Wars Battlefront" aptly titled "Rogue One: Scarif," featuring 2 new playable heroes and a new tropical oasis-like location. This is inspired by the latest addition to the "Star Wars" movie franchise "Rogue One: A Star Wars Story."

"Rogue One: Scarif" is named after the latest tropical location for the new DLC for "Star Wars Battlefront." According to the Star Wars Data Bank, Scarif is a beautiful tropical planet complete with tropical jungles and beaches. It is a total paradise if not for the major Imperial military installation.

Not only will "Rogue One: Scarif" include 4 new maps, but also similar to that of the movie "Rogue One: A Star Wars Story," the game will feature two new playable heroes: Jyn Erso and the cruel but brilliant director of Advanced Weapons Research Orson Krennic. In addition to this, a new multi-stage game mode with space and ground combat is available for gamers, as reported by Coming Soon.

Also, Cosmic Book noted that players of "Rogue One: Scarif" will be able to blast opponents using the new A180 and DT-29 blasters and can try out the new Sonic Imploder star card. The fourth and final DLC for "Star Wars Battlefront" also has AT-ACT, Tie Striker, and U-Wing, much like that of the film "Rogue One: A Star Wars Story." Another thing that will get players excited about is the brand new multi-stage Infiltration mode.

"Rogue One: Scariff" will be out beginning Dec. 6 for season pass holders, while most players will have to sit back and wait until Dec. 20. Another good news is that on Dec. 6, "Star Wars Battlefront Rogue One: X-Wing VR Mission" will be available for PlayStation VR, a free addition to players with a copy of "Star Wars Battlefront" plus PlayStation VR.
