‘The Winds Of Winter’ Updates: 'Game Of Thrones' Writer George R.R. Martin Revealed Sixth ASOIF Strategy?

"The Winds Of Winter" by "Game Of Thrones" writer George R.R. Martin, now has a clearer strategy for "A Song Of Ice And Fire" fans. While ASOIF fandom worried that TWOW production is being pushed back such factors as writers' block and social engagements, George R.R. Martin has a clear plan for "The Winds Of Winter" after all.

Comicbook cites revelation by GRRM on what the remaining weeks of 2016 and most 2017 will be like for the creator of "A Song Of Ice And Fire" saga. Referencing his appearance at the 2016 Westercon, George R.R. Martin revealed that he will unreachable to fans for a good part of 2017 to make way for pending work on "The Winds Of Winter."

Fans had worried that commitments by the "Game Of Thrones" author in the previous months may have been a sign that George R.R. Martin had been skipping TWOW duties. However, these recent revelations on his blog evidenced that GRRM does have a game plan for "The Winds Of Winter." As Thrillist cites, Martin is off for some tequila in Mexico this December before buckling down with TWOW.

When George R.R. Martin internally targeted with his publishers a December 2015 delivery of "The Winds Of Winter," this may have been in anticipation of his numerous engagements in 2016. Rather than the "Game Of Thrones" author grappling with delays over completing "The Winds Of Winter," George R.R. Martin may have actually been trying to do advance work for his sixth ASOIF novel. The original game plan for TWOW may have been a late 2017, early 2018 launch.

In any case, GRRM announced in Not A Blog that 2017 will mostly be dedicated to getting "The Winds Of Winter" out to his fans. Are you happy with the schedule George R.R. Martin has drawn up especially for "The Winds Of Winter?"
