'Marvel vs. Capcom 3' Updates: Gamestop Exclusively Retails Physical Version as Game Returns Starting March 2017

The much hyped "Marvel vs. Capcom: Infinite" won't be released until 2017, but another news broke out for this hit crossover fighting game. Reports surfaced that Gamestop will exclusively have the physical copy of "Marvel vs. Capcom 3" game beginning March.

According to PVPLive, since several listings of "Marvel vs. Capcom 3" have popped up for PS4 and Xbox One version, the retail editions might coincide with the upcoming Xbox One release, which is slated for March 2017. The report also noted that only Gamestop will be the exclusive retailer for the game. So, if you want to get your hands on the "Marvel vs. Capcom 3," better pre-order the game as early as now because you might end up at the bottom of the list.

For now, fans can only enjoy "Marvel vs. Capcom 3" through the digital format, since its release on PS4 last weekend during the PlayStation Experience 2016. Meanwhile, PC and Xbox One will have to wait for the digital version in March next year, per Gamingbolt. But it seems most players would prefer the physical version instead, perhaps for collection purposes.

"Marvel vs. Capcom 3" was previously released in the latter part of 2011. "Marvel vs. Capcom 3" is an updated version of "Marvel vs. Capcom 3: Fate of Two Worlds" but it is much the same game with minor tweaks here and there.

In other news, TechnoBuffalo noted that Capcom has confirmed that "Marvel vs Capcom 3" release on Steam will include PC. "Marvel vs Capcom: Infinite" will be out on PS4, Xbox One, and PC in late 2017.
