The holidays are fast approaching and one of the best things to do over the vacation is have some quality time with your loved ones via watching movies with them. The top 10 best Christmas movies that the kids and the family will love have been rounded up below.

"SING." The animated movie has been touching the inner singers of the audiences who have watched the trailer as the flick is about the characters least expected to show off their musical talent. One is this mother pig who has nothing to do but be a mother, do household chores, and be a wife being able to see a glimmer of hope that her routine will be changing if she wins the singing competition. Another character is this gorilla who is part of a family known for crimes but wants to depart from that by showing off his musical talent. The flick is not out yet as it will be released this December 21.

"MOANA." The movie was out on November 23 and many critics said that the Disney movie is one of the best animated flicks not only for children but also for kids at heart. It is about a young woman who starts an adventure in order to find a mythical island. Kids will not only love the story and the characters but also the amazing cinematography, Digi Arty reported.

"Miss Peregrine's Home for Peculiar Children." For the older children, the movie is based on the novel of the same name by Ransom Riggs and it follows the story of Jacob. He is able to discover an island where children with peculiar abilities live.

"Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them." The movie is also for the older children and adults who have been fans of the "Harry Potter" franchise. The movie is a prequel of the legendary flick. It was released on November 18, 2016, and is said to be a great flick for the family.

"Why Him?" A comedy movie that stars Bryan Cranston and James Franco. It is more of a family movie than for children. It is about an overprotective father who visits his daughter and her boyfriend over the holidays. Franco's character is not the usual boyfriend as he seems like the bad boy type.
