‘Blade Runner 2049’ Sequel Stars Harrison Ford & Ryan Gosling, Watch Trailer Here

The sequel for the 1982 sci-fi film, "Blade Runner" is finally coming into fruition with "Blade Runner 2049" about to hit the theatres in Oct. 2017. Aside from the return of the star of the original film, Harrison Ford, the new version will also feature Ryan Gosling. With the release of its first official trailer, reports are claiming that this movie sequel is worth the wait.

According to The Guardian, the first teaser for second instalment for "Blade Runner" looks promising with great cinematography and scenes showing Harrison Ford and the new character to be played by Ryan Gosling. This classic sci-fi movie from the book, "Do Androids Dream of Electric Sheep" by Philip Dick revolves around the main character, Rick Deckard which is played by Harrison Ford. Deckard is a blade runner whose job is to search for replicants described as androids which appear human.

A sequel was supposed to happen in 1999 with the director of the first movie, Ridley Scott. That project did not push through but thanks to Denis Villeneuve, "Blade Runner 2049" is now a reality. Scott now serves as the executive producer of the sequel

"Blade Runner 2049 took more than 30 years to finally be realized but the trailer did not reveal much about the new plot. However it suggests that the sequel will feature a new blade runner to be played by Ryan Gosling as posted in Entertainment Weekly.

This younger blade runner will discover a secret that can caused major disaster in society. To prevent this from happening, Gosling's character would have to find Deckard, the original blade runner who has not been heard of for the last 30 years.
