“Z: The Beginning of Everything” is one of the latest shows by Amazon which will be available next year. The first season of the show will have ten episodes. The show follows the lives of F. Scott Fitzgerald (David Hoflin) and Zelda Fitzgerald (Christina Ricci) during the Jazz Age.
The plot of the show was first released in Nov. 2015. “Z” is the first meeting of the couple on 1918 in Montgomery. They then had their way to the top in the literary circles in NYC and Paris.
For the poster and the promo of the show, “Z: The Beginning of Everything” also aims to take Zelda Sayre away from his husband’s shadow. The show also aims to show fans and viewers of her power; both destructive and artistic.
The pilot episode has been released in Amazon Prime. The pilot offers a glimpse of how F. Scott lifted his wife from his works. Zelda is evidently a woman ahead of her time and viewers will see how she manages this gift, Deadline reports.
The release of the pilot episode of “Z: The Beginning of Everything” makes it even harder for critics to create a definitive opinion of the newest show from Amazon. However, the only thing that’s clear is that Ricci’s portrayal of Zelda is authentic in nature.
Some of the latest photos from the set of “Z” showed how intimate the couple was in the past. However, it’s important to consider that F. Scott was one of the most influential people of his time, how did Zelda affect his success could be one of the premises of the show, Daily Mail reports.
So, when will “Z: The Beginning of Everything” air? The first season will be available in Amazon Prime on Jan. 27.
