“Girl Meets World” recently finished filming its third season and ever since fans, and even the stars, are still unsure of a season 4. Rowan Blanchard hopes there’s still one, though.
The star tweeted that she’s hoping for a season 4 of the show. This is for her generation to “be a voice of hope/change” from the show.
Hashtags like #SaveGirlMeetsWorld and #GirlMeesWorldSeason4 were used to create a conversation and to show support and love to the show. Some fans showed support by tweeting why the show must continue.
It can be recalled that the speculations that “Girl Meets World” won’t be renewed are because the recent episodes haven’t been doing well.
Fans who have been rallying for the show had garnered a lot of support. As of writing, the hashtags had at least 20 million impressions in Twitter.
One fan tweeted that “Girl Meets World” tackles relatable stuff life bullying and lost identity. With the show, viewers who are experiencing these find comfort in the show.
Another fan tweeted that America needs the show because it teaches them to truly find themselves. The show teaches the viewers to be kind, to nourish friendship, and be better persons, Seventeen reports.
Fans and the stars are hopeful for renewal. Nonetheless, there are still episodes to be aired on 2017 so; there’s still no confirmation of the show’s end.
However, as stated, Disney still haven’t released any official statement. The only statement they have released is a retooled statement that could mean that season 3 is the last season or it won’t be, Cinema Blend reports.
