The Baudelaires, Violet, Klaus and Sunny of "A Series of Unfortunate Events" are yet to make their debut on the small screen, yet apparently, Season 2 is already confirmed. The TV show, "A Series of Unfortunate Events" is an adaptation of a novel series by ingenious author, Lemony Snicket. The plot follows the series of misadventures that the Baudelaire orphans will experience and escape, all planned by their evil guardian, Count Olaf.
According to a post from PopSugar, cast member Patrick Warburton confirms that early production for the series is already in the works. This news may not be so surprising since the book has 13 chapters in all. Warburton and the rest of the viewers are hoping that the show's creators will be committed to adapt all the books in the series for TV.
Meanwhile, an article from Den of Geek reveals some details about the Season 1 of this Lemony Snicket's story. Apparently, Season 1 will cover the first four books in the series and the audience can expect the TV version to be much darker and disturbing than its book and movie counterparts. Neil Patrick Harris who will play Count Olaf is also hoping that the series will attract viewers of all ages.
A movie version was released in 2004 starring Jim Carrey as Count Olaf, Liam Aiken as Klaus, Emily Browning as Violet, and Kara and Shelby Hoffman as Sunny. That film was a huge box-office hit. For the TV version, the cast members are Neil Patrick Harris (Count Olaf), Patrick Warburton (Lemony Snicket), Malina Weissman (Violet), Louis Hynes (Klaus) and Presley Smith (Sunny).
