Survival can come in several forms. At the end of the day, it is nothing but natural for people to survive in the midst of odds and countless problems. However, it may not come as easy for others especially when faced with issues perceived to be extremely difficult. This is one of the issues tackled on the movie "A Winter Rose."

The character Winter Rose is a young struggling singer who is battling her own demons for being an orphan, moving from one orphanage to the other. As her means to cope, she turns into alcohol for what she thinks is her refuge. This then made her an alcoholic which resulted to damaging her emerging career as a musician.

In spite of her problems, she still finds solitude and respite from her one true love-music. Her life will then eventually make a big leap as she becomes deeply connected to another singer- an ailing and dying one.

Rachal Love, the ailing singer launches a worldwide search to find someone to replace her. Winter Rose was then personally chosen by the singer to replace her. Winter Rose has no other choice but to conquer her fears and demons to eventually be able to take on the world wide stage according to IMDb.
