Netflix News Today: Awesome New Marvel Series Lineup Revealed; See All Comic Con Trailers Here!

Marvel on Netflix TV has been eagerly showing its fans new series releases, with teasers for everyone at the recent SDCC. And one of its upcoming series features a ghost from Game of Thrones', none other than Finn Jones' Ser Loras Tyrell.

So far, numerous media releases on Marvel's Daredevil have it confirmed as renewed for a third season this 2017 on Netflix, with the valiant Matt Murdock (played by Charlie Cox) taking the law into his hands as he tries to maintain peace in Hell's Kitchen. Cox also unassumingly brings light into his seemingly dark role as Daredevil in the renewed Netflix series, although looking helpless at the same time, according to Cheat Sheet.

At the same time, Mike Colter aka Luke Cage would be using his acquired superhuman strength, unbreakable skin, and ex-prison experience to make it in Harlem City. Rosario Dawson, Alfre Woodard, and Mahershala Ali also join the ensemble cast. Luke Cage is going to air this September 30th on Netflix.

The first of many Netflix series to feature a female lead character, Jessica Jones is another Marvel offering that highlights the radioactively-acquired femme fatale skills of Krysten Ritter in the title role, where she uses her detective know-how to deal with NYC's baddies. The series has just been renewed for season 2, with much praise to Ritter and David Tennant aka villain Zebediah Killgrave's portrayal in season 1.

Another Netflix original to look out for is Iron Fist this 2017, who is Daniel Rand in the series and Finn Jones (the deceased GOT's Ser Loras Tyrell) in real life, says WPTZ. With a backstory featuring his eventual mastery of the martial arts learned from K'un L'un and becoming the Iron Fist after piercing the heart of a mystical dragon with his hands, this we all got to see.

The Punisher would also be coming to Netflix real soon (also by 2017), with Jon Bernthal (from The Walking Dead series) somehow still unconfirmed as to if he's playing Frank Castle aka Punisher in the series. Close to 2 years in the making, The Defenders would soon grace Netflix's screens in 2019, as well as Inhumans, The Avengers: Infinity Gauntlet 2, and Justice League 2.

The story behind The Defenders on Netflix would bring together the superhero team efforts of Luke Cage, Iron Fist, Jessica Jones, and Mr. Daredevil to uphold peace and justice all over New York City. Take your pick on which Netflix series to check out as early as now, and make sure to let us know who's the best in the comments below.
