Avid "Red Dead Redemption 2" are still not giving up in hoping for the possible reveal of Rockstar Games' much-anticipated game. In fact, rumors have it that the game developer and publisher will unveil "RDR 2" at Sony's PS4 Neo event this coming September.
There are also speculations that instead of "Red Dead Redemption 2," Rockstar Games will be releasing "Red Dead Redemption 3," Alphr noted. But the online news site also echoed the earlier reports that the upcoming "RDR" sequel or sequels won't be revealed at any other gaming conventions, citing the fact that Rockstar often holds its own launch event especially when it comes to the company's successful franchises.
Even though the latest "Red Dead Redemption 2" gives a glimmer of hope, fans are still advised to take the news with a grain of salt to avoid disappointments just like what happened at the E3 2016 event in June. But according to iDigitalTimes, there could be some hope about the "RDR 2" reveal at the upcoming Sony PS4 Neo launch on Sept. 7 after PlayStation insider Tidux posted a graphical announcement on Twitter.
Since the Twitter post contained a guitar and a star emojis with a hashtag #PSM (PlayStation Meeting), many "Red Dead Redemption 2" fans took the tweet as a hint for the game's sequel reveal. However, if the rumors were true about Rockstar Games' PlayStation Meeting participation, it couldn't really mean as merely "RDR 2" since Rockstar has several successful game titles.
Meanwhile, Sony will reportedly reveal some exciting and interesting details and specifications about the new PS4 Neo at the PlayStation Meeting. ASZ News revealed that PS4 Neo is more powerful than PS4 as it supports 4K resolutions games but those that are playable on PS4 will also be compatible on PS4 Neo.
As for the "Red Dead Redemption 2" possible reveal, rumors have it that the highly awaited sequel has a release date set sometime in 2017. As Parent Herald previously reported, "RDR 2" will feature two new characters who will reportedly set out on a journey of treasure hunting.
