‘ARK: Survival Evolved’ V247.0, V741.0 Patches [LATEST UPDATES]: PC, Xbox One Updates To Bring Procedurally-Generated Maps? Studio Wildcard Promises Performance Improvement

"ARK: Survival Evolved" is definitely evolving into full optimization in spite of the fact the game is still in Early Access on Steam. As a matter of fact, Studio Wildcard is more focused to deliver more content that will improve the game and boost its performance.

Speaking of "ARK: Survival Evolved" improvements, Studio Wildcard will reportedly launch the version 741.0 update for Xbox One on Sept. 13. The version 247.0 update, on the other hand, has already been launched for the PC platform on Sunday, Sept. 11.

Both "ARK: Survival Evolved" updates were reportedly different from each other. However, Segment Next revealed they both aim to boost the game's performance by 30 to 40 percent on PC and Xbox One consoles. As for their patch notes, please read below.

For "ARK: Survival Evolved" PC v247.0 update, the patch will reportedly bring a major update on "The Center," the PC Night Vision Goggles, Dynamic-Length Bridges and many others. The update will also introduce new dinosaurs such as Tapejara and Archaeopteryx.

"ARK: Survival Evolved" Xbox One v741.0 update, on the other hand, will bring performance improvement for the main game and the "Scorched Earth" DLC. It will also bring some fixes, especially with the Game List UI crashes.

Aside from the updates in "ARK: Survival Evolved" realm, Studio Wildcard also announced the game's procedurally-generated maps, which was first mentioned by the company's co-founder and lead developer Jeremy Stieglitz, Inquisitr reported. As a matter of fact, Stieglitz first hinted about the game's procedurally-generated maps on his Twitter account but he also stressed that the said system is still "work-in-progress."

Meanwhile, Studio Wildcard has been slammed following the addition of the "Scorched Earth" expansion in "ARK: Survival Evolved." As Parent Herald previously reported, players weren't thrilled that the game's newest DLC costs $19.99, noting the fact that the game is currently an Early Access version.

In line with the "Scorched Earth" controversy, Studio Wildcard has broken its silence and explained that "ARK: Survival Evolved" expansions were part of the game. The statement posted on Daily Express also added that the launch of first expansion early would mean an easier time to integrate more post-launch expansions.
