The NBA trade rumors continue to swirl and this time, a three-team three-player deal is in the rumor mill. According to the latest speculations, Chris Paul will be moving to the New York Knicks, John Wall will be acquired by Los Angeles Clippers, and Derrick Rose will be traded to the Washington Wizards amid the rape allegations by an unidentified woman.
Inquisitr reported that New York Knicks is set to acquired Paul, who is a point guard of the Los Angeles Clippers. If this deal takes place, Wall of the Sacramento Kings, who is also a point guard, will be going to the Los Angeles Clippers. The Washington Wizards will get Rose of New York Knicks in return. Aside from these three players, it is rumored that Otto Porter will go with Wall while Kristaps Porzingis will be going with Rose.
If Paul will be heading over to New York Knicks, it would be beneficial for the team especially because Porzingis and Rose are causing some sorts of problems to the team. Porzingis is feared to ask for a higher salary while Rose has been prone to injuries. Paul coming to the New York Knicks will also still depend on what it would cost the team but if Rose continues to be injury-prone, Paul will be more valuable.
Los Angeles Clippers is not wasting time with Paul since he has an early termination option in his contract after the 2016-2017 NBA Season. Los Angeles Clippers reportedly wants to get someone in return if he ever walks out of the team.
As for the Wall-Porter deal, Wall plays just as well as Paul so Los Angeles Clippers losing the latter will not matter too much. Rumors have been swirling regarding Wall being traded after he admitted that he and Bradley Beal sometimes do not agree while playing in court. This is a problem for the Washington Wizards since the Wall-Beal tandem is their best move.
Lastly, the rumors about Rose and Porzingis moving to the Washington Wizards is something new especially considering the fact that Rose is involved in a rape case. Rose and Porzingis are two great players so Washington Wizards might have a difficult time passing up this supposed deal.
More on the rape case involving Rose, a woman has alleged that he and two more men gang raped her in 2010, People reported. The woman, who does not want to be identified, is asking for $21.5 million in damages. The civil complaint was filed in Los Angeles Superior Court in August 2015. The woman said that Rose and his two friends have her a drug-laced tequila drink. A lawyer for Rose denies the allegations.
