SHINee Talks About Return As A Group, Drinking Solo; And Why Did Key Cry?

As the South Korean group SHINee has just recently released their new album titled "1 of 1," the group has been guesting in different radio and TV shows. In one of their guesting, the popular music band talked about their return as a group and a little trivia about their drinking habits. We also heard Key cried when he talked about his place in SHINee.

Before the release of their newest album "1 of 1," the members of SHINee get to spend some time for themselves, Soompi reported. Onew shared during the broadcast of SBS Power FM's "Kim Chang Ryul's Old School" that he spent most of his time fishing. The other members went to venture on their solo career, doing promotions, musicals and plays.

When asked about how they feel returning as a group, Taemin jokingly responded, "I feel like I've lost the chance to speak. When I was promoting as a solo artist, I had a chance to talk about myself, but now that we've returned as a group, that doesn't happen. I'm joking, I get excited when we return as SHINee."

SHINee members also shared some trivia about their habits of drinking solo. Listeners have learned that Jonghyun tends to drink whiskey in his room when he die in video games and get annoyed. Minho only drinks a can of beer every now and then while Taemin would usually buy his drink from a convenience store and consume the alcohol while walking.

Meanwhile, Key, who didn't make it to the SBS Power FM's guesting, shared on the "As You Say" talk show a period when he felt inferior among his SHINee co-members, as reported by AllKpop. Telling the audience his story, Key even shed a tear as he recalled how even after debuting at age 18 with SHINee, he felt like a chicken among swans-no competitive edge, no natural-born elegance, and not enough confidence. Key surely have come a long way after that, being a star on his own now.
