Music artists tend to venture in other aspects of the show business, and INFINITE's member L has also taken that path. According to reports, Kim Myung-soo is being considered for a leading role in the remake of the 2015 Japanese mystery film called "Solomon's Perjury."
"We're in the negotiation stages with INFINITE's L for 'Solomon's Perjury'. Nothing has been decided as of yet," a representative of JTBC said, as reported by AllKpop. The upcoming drama, based on the novel written by Mayabe Miyuki, is planned to be aired Friday-Saturday. The mystery film follows a group of students who went on their own to investigate the death of their classmate on a Christmas morning.
Rumors have it that the female lead role will be played by Chae Soo Bin, according to Soompi. However, a spokesperson of the network clarified that it has not determined yet who will be the main female actress for the "Solomon's Perjury."
"Solomon's Perjury" were released in two parts, the first one was on March 7, followed by the second part on April 11. The award-winning Japanese film was directed by Izuru Narushima and starred Ryōko Fujino and Mizuki Itagaki.
L's credits include "Shut Up! Flower Boy Band" (2012, tvN), "Cunning Single Lady" (2014, MBC) and "The Time We Were Not In Love" (2015, SBS) among several others. He also appeared in the movie "Mr. Shark" (2016).
Meanwhile, INFINITE recently appeared in an episode of "Yoo Hee Yeol's Sketchbook" on KBS2. Per Soompi, the popular South Korean boy band dished on the artists they want to collaborate with. Woohyun revealed that he really wants to perform with g.o.d's Son Ho Young and Hoya wants to work with Yoo Hee Yeol. L said he wants to do an acoustic duet with groups such as Rooftop Moonlight or Red Ickle while Sungjong wants to collaborate with Park Hyo Shin.
