In recent months, Tom Clancy's "The Division" has been under fire due to several technical glitches and bugs that plagued the game. But with Ubisoft's determination to further enhance the content of the game, the game developer is gearing up to deploy the massive 1.4 update this month following the launch of its Public Test Server (PTS) on PC three weeks ago.
After several changes, Gaming Bolt revealed that Ubisoft has finally decided to cease Tom Clancy's "The Division" PTS after its Week 3 notes. However, the developer stressed that the game's PTS won't be good for good as it would be utilized for the game's future updates.
"The PTS for Update 1.4 will wrap up after Week 3, a few of you have been wondering about the future of the PTS," the official statement posted on Ubisoft Forums read. "We've seen overwhelming success with it so far thanks to the community involvement and will definitely be utilizing this for future Updates."
Meanwhile, Tom Clancy's "The Division" 1.4 update PTS recently revealed that the game's Threat and Aggro mechanics will see some major changes. According to VG24/7, one of the changes would be the Threat system rework and the management of enemy aggro, which is controlled by skills that produce and minimize threats.
Tom Clancy's "The Division 1.4 update PTS Week 3 patch notes also detailed some of the changes in the game. One of which is the Signature Skill resource that was reduced from 10 percent to 5 percent. The game's Weekly High Value and High Risk Target missions have also been improved, scaling according to group size.
As for the weapons, Tom Clancy's "The Division" 1.4 updates PTS Week 3 patch notes revealed that the game's named weapons are no longer locked to specific Gear Scores, with the exception of Damascus. The skills, on the other hand, will also boost as skill specialists will see an increase in the efficiency of their skills.
