Following the negative reviews, comments and reactions on Tom Clancy's "The Division" due to technical glitches and bugs, Ubisoft is determined to redeem the game back to its glorious days. Part of the game developer's plan to turn the game around is launching its massive 1.4 update on Tuesday, Oct. 25.
Prior to the release of Tom Clancy's "The Division" 1.4 update, Ubisoft first deployed its Public Test Server (PTS) on PC more than three weeks ago. The PTS, which featured changes that won't be available in the live game, aimed to test the game's 1.4 patch, to determine some critical glitches and gather feedbacks from the gamers.
After Tom Clancy's "The Division 1.4 update PTS Week 3 patch notes, Ubisoft decided to finally halt its PTS. However, Parent Herald noted that it won't be gone for good as it will be utilized for future game updates.
Now, Ubisoft is gearing up for the Oct. 25 release of Tom Clancy's "The Division" 1.4 update. According to PlayStation LifeStyle, the game developer vowed a superfluity of features, improvements and improvements, including the game's World Tier (Normal, Hard Challenging) that lead to more rewards.
Aside from the rewards, Tom Clancy's "The Division" 1.4 update will also bring UI improvements and gameplay changes. Even though everyone seemed to be excited for the release of Tom Clancy's "The Division" 1.4 update, some skeptics are still wary if the massive update will be enough to bring the game back to its glorious days when it broke several records and rose up to be the top bestselling game title of 2016. The patch, which weighed at around 11GB on PS4 and 57 GB on Xbox One, will indeed bring major changes into the same but PCGamer pointed out that if the update "can't serve up an interesting game world, it's not going to be able to keep players coming."
Meanwhile, Ubisoft is indeed ready to finally launch Tom Clancy's "The Division" 1.4 update, which the game developer prioritized over its "Survival" and "Last Stand" expansions. Windows Report noted the patch has already been receiving positive reception and will be released on all platforms - PC, PS4 and Xbox One - on Oct. 25. As for Ubisoft's other plans, fans could expect that they will be gearing up for the 1.5 update that will bring the next expansion before the year ends.
