OnePlus Latest News, Rumors, Specs: 'True Flagship Killer of 2017' To Be Released In July 2017? Qualcomm Snapdragon 830, 8GB RAM, Dual Cam Setup And More!

Another day, another OnePlus 4 rumors. This time, though, word on the street is suggesting on the Smartphone's release date and, just as always, a sack full of leaked specs to go along just for good measure. They're not official yet, but fans are still enjoying every bit of information.

International Business Times' latest post is pointing that the OnePlus 4, the company's next flagship, will be unveiled on July 2017. There's no telling whether this has been confirmed by OnePlus themselves, but it is more likely to go through if their timeline is to be followed.

OnPlus4.Org, through Game N Guide said that OnePlus "is determined to launch one flagship a year". Rightfully so, the OnePlus One was launched two years back. It was then followed by OnePlus 2 in 2015 and the OnePlus 3 this year. Alongside the 3, the company is also developing the OnePlus 3T. If this is the case, then it's a safe bet that OnePlus will be coming out with the 4 next year if they want their heritage to continue.

On the other hand, what the OnePlus 4 should bring to the table is "still sketchy". There are, however, some nice and nifty rumors about the device. Among others, it is believed that it will be powered by a massive 3GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 830 chipset alongside an Adreno 620 graphics card. Adding to the monstrosity is an alleged 8GB RAM, a 128GB onboard storage and 4,200mAh battery.

Techno Configurations also said that the "true flagship killer of 2017" can flaunt a 5.5inch QHD display screen and a dual camera setup with "several interesting applications". A3D touch and fingerprint scanner "would be nice", it added. The dual cam might just be in place as other sources claim that it would sport a 16megapixel and an 8megapixel combo at the back and a 12megapixel clicker in front.

Further specs also show that the OnePlus 4 will run on the company's upcoming Oxygen OS akin to Google's Android 7.0 Nougat interface. There is also a slight lean on it having wireless technology, and a price tag of around $400-$500.
