After an intense finale, "The Last Ship" is preparing for another journey as English actor Jonathan Howards and Jackson Rathbone board the TNT action-drama series. Jonathan Howard will take the key role of James Fletcher, while Jackson Rathbone will play the role of Giorgio.
In Season 4 of "The Last Ship," Fletcher is a British Royal Navy commander who happens to have ties with the MI-6 as an agent. Fletcher will be working with the crew of USS Nathan James to assist with the recovering of stolen items that are significantly crucial to the survival of the entire planet. He will be closely working with Sasha Cooper (Bridget Regan).
Meanwhile, Jackson Rathbone's character Giorgio is a wealthy, charming, and also a dangerous Greek-American playboy thug. He makes the Mediterranean his playground using his wealth and power.
Jonathan Howard's credits include TV Episodes, "Guilt," "Mr. Selfridge," "Domino," and "Kingdom" and he has also appeared on the big screen such as in "World War Z" and "Thor: The Dark World." Howard is repped by Silver Lining Entertainment and Gersh and by Gary O'Sullivan at Troika in the UK.
Jackson Rathbone, on the other hand, played the iconic vampire Jasper in the hit movie series "Twilight" and recurred on MTV's "Finding Carter." He will also be featured in the upcoming "Until We Meet Again" and "Justice." Rathbone is repped by Atty. Peter Nelson, Link Entertainment, and Innovative Artists.
"The Last Ship" also stars Bridget Regan and Adam Baldwin. Travis Van Winkle, Charles Parnell, Marissa Neitling, Christina Elmore, Jocko Sims, Kevin Michael, and Bren Foster.
Based on William Brinkley's post-Apocalyptic novel, "The Last Ship" follows the USS Nathan James a Navy destroyer. Captain Thomas Chandler played by Eric Dane and his crew must face the reality that they may be the few remaining survivors after the global catastrophe that wiped out over 80% of the world's population.
The creation of executive producers Hank Steinberg and Steven Kane of the action-drama novel, according to TNT, is one of basic cable's top 10 summer dramas among adults 19-49, reaching an average of 7.1 million viewers per episode across multiple platforms, as reported by Variety.
The fourth season of "The Last Ship" will have 13 episodes and is expected to air June 2017.
