"Lucifer" on Fox has been gaining in the ratings week after week and the network is pleased. In an upcoming episode, the light drama crime series -- about the devil who takes a break from hell -- will be ramping its storylines further.
Lucifer Morningstar (Tom Ellis) might be taking a bride and becoming someone's husband in the midseason of "Lucifer." A married Lord of the Underworld might be unexpected, but plenty of unusual things have happened on this show that have clicked with viewers.
According to TV Line the devil on "Lucifer" will have "an ex-stripper on his arm and bearing his last name." No announcement has been made about who his stripper bride would be and it's still unsure if Mrs. Lucifer Morningstar would be sticking around for the long haul.
It's also unclear as to which episode will feature a married Lucifer. But succeeding episode titles have already been released by "Lucifer" writers via their Twitter. These are "Homewrecker" (Nov. 21), "Quid Pro Ho" (Nov. 28) and "Stewardess Interruptus" (Dec. 5), while "Love Handles" and "A Good Day to Die" will be aired when the show returns in January after the holiday break.
This week's episode of "Lucifer," which aired on Monday, Nov. 14, was an ode to "Buffy," a cult series that aired from 1997 to 2003. Lucifer helped Chloe (Lauren German) and her team find a stabber who, unknown to the police, used Lucifer's powerful blade.
"We're the modern day Buffy where we do comedy and then we can spin it and do hardcore drama," DB Woodside, who plays Amenadiel on "Lucifer" said, per Nerdist. "At the same time, horror and this kind of supernatural thing that we do," the actor added. Woodside was actually part of "Buffy" in its seventh season.
Catch "Lucifer" every Monday nights on Fox. In the meantime, check out the teaser to the episode airing Monday, Nov. 21 in the video below.
