While fans of "Alaskan Bush People" are waiting for the official news of the show's renewal or cancellation, the Discovery Channel has been airing special episodes called "Bushcraft Chronicles." Two more Bushcraft episodes are scheduled in the next two Wednesday and then "Alaskan Bush People" Season 6 premieres in December.
"Alaskan Bush People" fans are served with feature episodes for the past seasons through the "Bushcraft Chronicles." The first episode was titled "Appliances," and episode 2 was "Shelter" where Matt was featured creating different types of houses, including a plastic wrap house. Yes, like he's playing "The Three Little Pigs" and waiting how the big bad wolf would destroy his "house."
ABP's "Bushcraft Chroncles" continues in the next two weeks, with Episode 3 titled "Transportation," airing on Nov. 23. "Bushcraft Chronicles" Episode 4 is titled "Power," which will air on Nov. 30.
No official word yet regarding "Alaskan Bush People's" renewal, and the cancellation rumors continue in the grapevine. But according to the Facebook fan page for Matt Brown, "Alaskan Bush People" Season 6 is gearing up for a December premiere.
The Facebook post says, "We are being told from a few sources that there are NEW Alaskan Bush People episodes coming up in December!! We are still waiting for the official word from Discovery channel, so stay tuned! Have a great Tuesday!"
For now, there are still reruns of the past "Alaskan Bush People" seasons every Wednesday. New episodes of "Bushcraft Chronicles" airs at 9:00 p.m. and followed by more reruns of past episodes.
"Alaskan Bush People" features Billy and Amy Brown and their seven grown children. The family has been living in the wild in Alaska, far from the civilization, and are getting by on their own. When the show returns for its sixth season, Matt's alcohol problem and Bam Bam's love story are likely to be featured.
