‘Alaskan Bush People’ Season 6 Confirmed Or Canceled? Season 7 Going To Be The Last?

There have been some confusion regarding what season "Alaskan Bush People" is gearing up for. This is partly due to the reruns of "Alaskan Bush People" Season 3 on the Discovery Channel. Setting the records straight, the TLC website indicated that the latest episodes available for "Alaskan Bush People" were from Season 5.

Now that it's been cleared, the question many fans are still waiting for an answer is whether "Alaskan Bush People" has been renewed or canceled. Earlier this month, Matt Brown gave the fans of the Brown family high hopes when he posted on Facebook that the Discovery Channel is preparing them for a new season of "Alaskan Bush People."

Matt Brown, who would likely be the main focus of the upcoming season, also said that Season 6 would premiere in early November. With re-runs airing Tuesdays and Fridays, the new season would probably fall on a Nov. 4 or a Nov. 11 premiere.

But until now, there is no official word yet from the network regarding the show coming back for another season aside from the show being listed in Discovery Channel's lineup of shows next year. However, rumors have it that the family is actually back in the bush and already started filming for "Alaskan Bush People" Season 6.

On the other hand, rumors also have it that the Brown family would only be willing to do up to the seventh season. If it turns out to be true, "Alaskan Bush People" Season 7 would be their last season.

"Alaskan Bush People" has been criticized for being unrealistic and scripted, rather than a true reality TV. There have been many articles pointing out the flaws in the show and exposing what could probably be "lies," starting off with the family claiming that they had live in the wild for the past 30 years. Nonetheless, "Alaskan Bush People" is still a hit reality, or docu-series, among viewers.
